Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)

Welcome to the most recognised Agile training for steering product development. From this course you will gain the most popular Agile product management certification – the CSPO.

Description

Agility is about steering nimbly. In Scrum, this steering is done by the Product Owner in a way that maximises the overall value and return on investment. This makes the Product Owner a high-impact accountability requiring many skills from discovery and stakeholder management to multi-faceted prioritisation and team collaboration.

The course is delivered in person and live online with Rowan Bunning from our Australian partner Adapt WithStyle. The Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) course is about moving your Agile Product Management from a tactical level to a strategic level through practical tools that support discovery, alignment and co-creation.

During the CSPO course, you will learn how the most effective Product Owners work and about the overlap with Product Management. You will find out where you are on the journey toward high-impact product leadership including product strategy and product vision.

You will add tool after tool to your toolkit including customer discovery, product vision, segmentation, goal-based scope management, hypothesis validation, Lean Startup MVPs, Agile-aligned roadmapping, goal definition, prioritisation and more.

The CSPO course takes you on a journey through foundational principles, what the Product Owner accountability involves and hands-on journey from discovery of a customer through vision, product strategy, discovery and tactical steering activities.

“Great way to learn the key skills to become a successful PO. So much to learn and apply. Great Course.” - Rakesh Chandu, Business Intelligence Consultant at ACC New Zealand

“An introduction to the value and purpose of the Product Owner role in Scrum teams using theory, examples and group exercises to get across the key concepts and techniques. Fills in the gaps in the Scrum guide and gives some attention to the variety of contexts and scenarios (including anti-patterns) that the participants might encounter.” - Alex Webster, Product Manager

“This course is a great journey through the different aspects of being a Product Owner and the wider Scrum environment you are working in. Covers a bunch of topics and provides a lot of tools and practical methods you can use to help work through different decisions or pain points.” - Aidan Antoun, Business Analyst at Xero

“A really good busy two days! Good balance between learning theory and separating into smaller groups to work out how to apply it in practice. Done remotely and really professionally managed by Rowan and his team.” - Paul Michel, Product Owner - Digital Content at Inland Revenue NZ
